How to Build a Tree House Restaurant

Human beings have always wanted to be like birds. We wanted to fly like birds, that is why we invented the airplane. In this project, some humans wanted to be like birds by building a tree house restaurant. What an idea! I guess it would be really cool to be eating above ground and enjoy the significant view of nature.

The location of this Redwoods Treehouse restaurant is located near Auckland, New Zealand. It looks like a bird nest being built around a redwood tree. With the height of 40 meters above the ground, diners could enough quite a scene when hanging out with friends.

There is a walk way to will take you from the ground up.

The structure seems to give you some protections during night time.

What a great way to be one with nature. It was designed by New Zealand-based Pacific Environment Architects, Ltd, is part of a large marketing campaign for the Yellow Pages, a major printer of US phone directories.

Here is the corridor to the restaurant at night time. If the price is right, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try something different for a change.

It is seriously a matter of finding enlightenment when seeing these sights.

Whether it is in form of a lake, a coral reef, or a orange grove she has written hidden messages that are waiting to be decipher by the curious explorer.

Heart-Shaped Mangrove, Voh, New Caledonia

This well-known heart-shaped piece of land is this incredible mangrove in New Caledonia, captured by Yann Arthus Bertrand and featured on the front cover of his book, Earth From Above.

Heart Reef, Great Barrier Reef of the Whitsundays

It is strange how this is possible, but this Heart Reef is naturally formed, heart-shaped collection of coral in Australia. One could only see this beauty from the above, but the view is definitely worth the cost.

Heart-Shaped Island, Gutierrez Lake, Patagonia

A beautiful heart-shaped, tree covered island can be found in Patagonia, Argentina, and is best viewed from the East side of Gutierrez Lake.

Odd Climate Yields A beautiful side of Coastal Australia

Australia is a country, a continent, and an island by itself. It is a unique place on earth where various extreme climate prevail. In September of 2009, a dust storm engulfed the coastal area of Sydney. In this small collection of photos, one could see the affects of a dust storm on Australia. It was a rare event and it was extremely beautiful. A dust storm or sandstorm is a meteorological phenomenon common in arid and semi-arid regions. Dust storms arise when a gust front blows loose sand and dust from a dry surface. Particles are transported by saltation and suspension, causing soil erosion from one place and deposition in another. The Sahara and dry lands around the Arabian peninsula are the main source of airborne dust, with some contributions from Iran, Pakistan and India into the Arabian Sea, and China’s storms deposit dust in the Pacific. Dust storms in Australia are not uncommon but are usually restricted to the inland. Occasionally, during widespread drought, dust storms reach coastal areas. Australia is the driest inhabited continent and only Antarctica is drier.

Unique Trees Around The world

You are absolutely right! You have seen numerous plants and trees before, but these trees are really one of a kind. While some trees are shape by nature, others are force into certain shapes by human. This is the difference between nurture and nature. Nature is a artist herself, although she has no purpose of create such beauty but the results of her work will continue to give us awes.

This tree looks like a woven basket. Fore people that like nature, it would be truly awesome to take a picture next to this amazing tree.

This tree may have grown up like this due to the interference of an individual. A gardener who loves to play with natural things to create certain beauty for his fellow human beings.

Strange Natural Wonders – Earth and Her Holes

These are mesmerizing pictures of holes that are either made by men or nature. Looking at these pictures really make you want to wonder if you want to visit these sites in person. They are huge earth dents that are also cool and scary looking at the same time.

The Udachnaya Pipe is a diamond mine in Russia. The owners of the mine plan to cease its operations in 2010 – in favor of underground mining. The mine was discovered in 1955 and is over 600 meters deep.

The Kimberley Diamond Mine (also known as the Big Hole) holds the (disputed) title of being the largest hand-dug hole in the world. From 1866 to 1914 50,000 miners dug the hole with picks and shovels, yielding 2,722 kg of diamonds. Attempts are being made to have it registered as a world heritage site.

The Mirny Diamond Mine is 525m deep and has a diameter of 1200m. It was the first, and one of the largest, diamond Pipes in the USSR. It is now abandoned. While it was still operational, it would take two hours for trucks to drive from the top to the bottom of the mine.
