How is Apple Company Doing Financially Nowaday

If you are curious and wanted to know how Apple is doing in the year of 2009, then you are about to hear good news.  For the quarter of September 2009, the company sold 3.05 million Macintosh computers representing a 17 percent unit increase over the year-ago quarter. In addition, 10.2 million iPods were sold representing an eight percent unit decline from the year-ago quarter. Apple sold 7.4 million iPhones  representing seven percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter.  This is great news for Apple and their shareholders because new sales gave them a wooping $1.67 billion, net profit for the quarter.  One important thing that we need to be aware of this news is that people are spending again, this could be a great sign that the recession is fading away.
