This is a tessellation made origami paper. Tessellation is the process of creating a two-dimensional plane using the repetition of a geometric shape with no overlaps and no gaps. A honeycomb is a perfect example of a tessellation. It would be cool to have something like this in the guest room.

These masks look like faces of warrior. I am truly amazed at how the artist could make these intricate paper folds.

This is my favorite piece, the color orange make the piece so vivid and alive.

These cool looking paper masks are the creation of Joel Cooper. This talented artist could fold simple pieces of paper into 3d objects. These cool masks are perfect for a Greek plays or a custom party.

Patrick has mastered the concept of growing plants on vertical structures. He learned this cool technique of vertically growing plants from a trip to India, and turn it into a popular garden art in France.

Modern spaces lack a sense of nature, Patrick bring nature to the modern world.

The talented botanists has been hired by businesses to decorate their buildings and working areas.

This is one cool of incorporating plants to a walking staircase. It doesn’t matter how advanced we get in our living style, we will always need a piece of nature with us. Our hope is with modern technology, but our trust is always with nature.

Impress the world with Recycled Art

Do you want to do something with those old computer parts? Should you burn them, give them to recycling center, or create something awesome out of them like artist Susan Stockwell. This talented artist uses something that nobody want, and create something that is worth checking out.

This master piece from recycled part is called the WORLD and it was carried out at the University of Bedfordshire.

This is what the United States looks like from the view point of Susan Stockwell.

The various colors of the computer components really make this map looks like a real map, which shows elevations other details.

Take this project as a way to challenge yourself to create something from recycled objects. What is it about recycled art attracts people? The idea is as simple as taking something that no one really cares or give a darn about, and turn it into that is as amazing and cool like this map project. I wish there are people out there that give out grants or contest for such recycled project.

These metal chain sculptures of human are made from nothing other than bicycle and steal chains. The sculptures are created by Korean artist Yeong-Deok Seo. It takes some tough discipline to create some awesome art work like these.

Big Cool Burning Crayon Sculpture

This crayon stacking project is just amazing to me when I first saw it. How and why did Herb Williams chooses to use crayon for his art project? We dont know, but they are something that we dont see on a daily basis.

I like how the faded out the color to create the flame effect. Way too cool of a structure man.

This crayon project is called Unwanted Visitor: Portrait of Wildfire located at the National Ranching Heritage Center at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Herb Williams is working hard in the studio trying to bring something new to the world. Brilliant mind and brialliant ideas from a crayon stacker.

Here is something about Herb Williams that you should know. He actually has an account with Crayola. It takes some dedication to come up with something like this people. I wish I have this kind of dedication. Nicely done Herb, nicely done!

Cool Dinosaur in Glass Bottle

How do you put a huge thing like a dinosaur inside a glass bottle? This is the stunt that this talented artist is trying to achieve. What a way to create the shock and awe for his audiance. Scaling a mammoth animal into a tiny little glass bottle is something that people do not see often. From this art the wood dinosaur could be consider cute and adorable, but if you were to see this thing alive you better run as fast as you can.

I would buy something like this to put in my office.

The artist got the right idea on this project because if he would have put some other kind of animals in the glass bottle people would not have be that interested in the little guys. All credits are given to the manificent Akinobu, who is a master at making architectural models in Tokyo. Like it, share it, so your friend could enjoy it.

Cool Art Made With Tree Roots

This gotta be the most creative art I have seen around. The roots are metallic and they belong to South Korean artist Kim Sun Hyuk.

This is my favorite piece, it reminds me of the mirror mirror on the wall queen from the snow white movie.

These two pieces are quite intriguing, they actually take on the shape of the human body.

Maybe the roots in this sculpture is not created live tree, but the artist really did an excellent job at making them looking botanical.

This simple and cool looking seating system is designed by no one other than the talented Fabien Capello.

These small blue wood sticks are connected together to form something that I would definite have. This furniture piece is also a great to have at a local library or school.

The cool new trend in the entertainment industry are 3d movies, these movies bring in good profits for the movie makers. If you have seen a 3d movie lately then you must know that you have to have the 3d glasses. The idea of 3d movies is spreading into the painting world, where talented artist like Stefan Da Costa Gomez has created 3d acrylic paintings. These paintings just like the 3d movies, you will need 3d glasses to see the true effects.

Here is the 3d painting of Marilyn Monroe being sexy as always.

Stefan Gomez’s collection consist of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, and Humphrey Bogart.

This is the first time I have even heard of 3d paintings, I would so love to check out them out. Let’s hope that glasses are free and we only have to pay for the admission. 3d art has always been some sort of a futuristic thing, but these paintings make it seems like the future is not the future anymore.

Cool Museum Structure That You Must See

Get ready to be amazed by this extremely unique structure that got put into creation by Sosno and Rytis Daukanta. Sosno is a sculptor from France and Rytis is an architect from Lithuania. The unique design of having rectangular box blasting through the face of human face is something out of the ordinary. The rectangular box is where all the galleries will be held, an elevator is installed inside the human head to take guests up to the museum.

This is what the interior of the museum looks like, the exterior is covered with glass. While the guests are inside the museum, they could check out the ocean view.

This structure bring the shock and awe to the beholder. This is magnificent!

How to Bend Wires to Create Art

Now that you have seen the art work, here is something about Gavin Worth that you do not know, he has not attended any art school. This talented wire bending artist was was born in Zimbabwe in 1981, grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Creating art form bending wire is a skill that many do nto possess, but this individual has taken art to its limit.

The form created from the bended wires is so natural and real. A great outline of a female figure!

Here is a little side note about the wire bending artist:“By bending black wire into something of freestanding line drawings, I create sculptures that engage the viewer by involving them in their subtle changes. When the light in the room shifts, so does the mood of the piece. A breeze might softly move an arm. My wire sculptures tell stories of simple human moments: a woman adjusting her hair, a face gazing from behind tightly wrapped arms, a mother gently cradling her baby. The honest, unguarded moments are the ones that I find to be the most beautiful.”

This piece is pretty cool, I wish i could ask this artist to create something like this for me and my wife. It would be the ultimate anniversary gift of all time.

If you think that pencil is a tool for drawing, painting or writing notes – you’re wrong! 45-year-old carpenter, Dalton J. Paul Getty for 25 years turns ordinary pencils into incredible miniature sculptures. Without using a magnifying glass. “When I was a schoolboy, – says the master, – I made gifts to my friends, carving out their names on a pencils. Later, I decided to try sculpture, and after a long searching the choice fell on a pencil lead.” For such work Dalton uses blades, sewing needles and special knives for the sculptures. However, the material is too fragile and can not allow mistakes: at home Mr. Getty has more than 100 unfinished or broken sculptures. “At first I had a few broken figures, later I decided to keep them all in memory. I call this “cemetery collection”: they are all dear to me, yet I spent alone with them a few months.” Artist could spend a few months at one sculpture. For the creation miniature alphabet Dalton spent 2,5 years. “My patience is simply amazing people, because nowadays everyone wants to be quicker, faster and faster.”

Floating Country invested by Paypal founder Peter Thiel

For those who remain pessimistic about this latest project Thiel says, “We don’t need to really worry about those people very much, because since they don’t think it’s possible they won’t take us very seriously. And they will not actually try to stop us until it’s too late.”

A well known Libertarian, Thiel suggests these islands may be instrumental in “experimenting with new ideas for government.” One theory implements libertarian ideals such as no welfare, no minimum wage, looser building codes, and fewer weapons restrictions. Another more capitalistic approach called Appletopia, has a corporation starting the country as a business where the more popular it becomes the more valuable the real estate.

These micro-countries built on oil rig-like platforms will be moveable, diesel-powered 12,000 ton structures. Each structure may house up to 270 residents, and they are planned to link together into a massive web. Thiel plans to launch a flotilla office park off the coast of San Francisco next year and predicts full settlement of the first island in 2019. He and the Seasteading Institute aim to have 10 million floating residents by 2050.

Thiel’s ventures have always pushed boundaries. From wanting to use a currency unaffiliated with any nation for Paypal to funding DNA sequencing and commercial space travel, the uncharted and therefore, unregulated realms are his greatest interests. For those who remain pessimistic about this latest project Thiel says, “We don’t need to really worry about those people very much, because since they don’t think it’s possible they won’t take us very seriously. How Origami Cranes Help raised 2 Million Dollars

Want to raise money for a community project? Check out this shocking stories of folding 2 million origami cranes. One July afternoon, a truck full of paper cranes arrived at the Brooklyn studio of Vik Muniz, a Brazilian-born artist known for building images from unconventional materials like diamonds, spaghetti and dust. “I was like, ‘Where are you going to put all these?’” he says. The birds had traveled a long way. After the Japanese earthquake in March, the nonprofit Bezos Family Foundation invited children to mail origami cranes to the Seattle headquarters of its Students Rebuild program. Each would trigger a $2 donation, up to $200,000. The group received more than 2 million and doubled the donation. Last week, Muniz made a mosaic of a giant crane from smaller ones, for a fund-raising poster. “It’s alchemic,” he said. “The idea worked because everyone wanted to help.” From New York Times Magazine.
