It will arrive in the market at the end of November 2009.

Can you really share your ebook on the nook?
You can lend ebook to friend for a limited 14 days.

Can you browse the internet on the nook?
There is no browser in the nook to surf the internet , you can only browse Barnes and Noble store.

Can you watch video on the nook?
As of the moment you can not, it uses the Eink technology, which makes it clear to read but slow to display color material or video.

Can you install apps on the nook?
It uses the Android system, but we have to see if hackers could hack it like the Iphone

Have you ever wanted to get a tattoo where people will like you for it? Well, Check out this list of tattoos that is not considered as crazy or scary by people.

No.1 – Offspring tattoo

A tattooed portrait (or their name and date of birth) of your son or daughter is a great way to immortalize them and is a reminder you can take anywhere — even to prison!

No.2 – Passion/profession tattoos

Unless you are a professional athlete, a football signifying “sports” is unacceptable. On the other hand, a lawyer getting a small tattoo of the scales of justice on his shoulder is acceptable.

No.3 – Memorial tattoos

It’s unfortunate, but the passing of an immediate family member gives you free reign to get a tattoo of pretty much anything you want, as long as it is a sign of respect and not a convenient excuse to get that “uber-cool” tribal arm band you have had your eye on for a while. Simple text is preferable with memorial tattoos, but if you do go with an image of someone special make sure you spend enough money to ensure that it’s a good portrait.

No.4 – Military tattoo

Everyone seems to have an old uncle who loves nothing more than to show off his World War II tattoo on his left bicep as he engages you in an impromptu pushup contest during Christmas dinner. What may have been overlooked during this unnecessary feat-of-strength competition is that tattoos signifying a tour of duty are not only pretty badass, but also serve as a timeless sign of respect for the armed forces that guard our country each and every day.

No.5 – Personal-mantra tattoo

Frankly, this can be left up to your best judgment. What qualifies as a “personal mantra” differs from person to person. Our advice is to skip the profanity unless absolutely necessary and keep the font size relatively small, neat and clean.

No.6 – Original tattoo (a design you created yourself)

In the event that you have some semblance of artistic talent, some of the best and most meaningful designs could very well be those you come up with yourself. Our advice is to seek opinions of your design from at least one good friend and one family member before you start shopping your “El Capitan Awesome” emblem around to tattoo artists

No.8 – Heritage tattoo

Size limits are very much in effect on this one, but small, well-drawn tattoos that highlight certain widely embraced symbols of one’s cultural heritage are acceptable. Examples could include shamrocks for an Irishman or a yin and yang for a person of Japanese descent (although this is a bit cliched). Unacceptable examples include anything that propagates negative cultural stereotypes such as drunken Irish leprechauns, Italian pizza pies or Colombian kilos of cocaine.

No.9 – Prison tattoo

Whereas prison tattoos may not be acceptable in “general” society, multiple teardrops beside one’s eye, certain key gang symbols or any messaging with the intent to intimidate can often serve a functional purpose in places where the assertion of one’s dominance is essential for survival. Such places include prison, prison camps, prison gyms, prison cafeterias, prison shower rooms, and mid-’90s movies about inner-city high schools.

No.10 – Cover-up tattoos

As the old adage goes, to err is human and to forgive is divine. Admitting to the error of a large calf tattoo portraying your love of soccer and fire (or an amalgam of both) is the first step toward forgiveness; the second step is getting a talented tattoo artist to conceal the “art.” Then again, sometimes a tattoo is necessary to turn your flaming Dr. Pepper leg burn into a spot on a pretty kitty cat. This is also acceptable, so long as that “kitty” is actually a “bulldog” or other such manly dog.

Here is a special list of women that have been greatly admired by men throughout the last 10 decades. Each woman is unique in her own way, and the things that they did will forever capture a guy’s heart.

No.1 – Farrah Fawcett
Her appearance in Charlie’s Angel make is sold 12 million copies. Farrah Fawcett’s tousled hair and bright smile hung in every bedroom and every auto shop, making her the biggest sex symbol of the ’70s. Chances are your mom even sported a “Farah-Do” when she met your dad. That hairstyle was emulated more than the “Rachel Cut.”

For Father’s Day, rent DVDs of the Charlie’s Angels series. Then go to YouTube and watch her incoherent interview with David Letterman from 1997. You can both laugh at her crazy drug-induced ramblings and maybe your dad will even tell you one of his old drug stories.

No.2 – Brigitte Bardot
Hands down one of the sexiest film stars of all time, there’s a very good chance this French femme fatale played a large part in your father’s sexual awakening. She became notorious with And God Created Woman, a film that pushed beyond the sexual limits of previous cinema. The scene with Brigitte Bardot dancing barefoot on a table is still one of the most erotic scenes ever. Her accent and bust made her a major sex symbol through the ’50s, ’60s and early ’70s.

No.3 – Goldie Hawn
Goldie Hawn won the hearts of every man who loves a sense of humor during her stint on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. Unlike her daughter, Hawn had the ability to play sexy and funny. Her painted-body, bikini shot embodied the ’60s mentality and assured her place among the top sex symbols. In 1969, she became legit, winning an Academy Award for the comedy Cactus Flower.

No.4 – Tina Turner
While her hair is now beyond crazy, this 69-year-old still has great legs. During the ’60s and ’70s, those killer legs, amazing pipes and Tina Turner’s crazy husband Ike Turner recorded a number of hits that evolved along with popular music. She became the favorite female singer of everyone from The Rolling Stones to James Brown to Elvis Presley to Ray Charles.

No.5 – Ursula Andress
The first Bond girl continues to be the most popular of all time, regularly topping “Best Bond Girl” lists. Ursula played Honey Ryder in Dr. No and the scene of her emerging from the ocean in a white bikini with a knife strapped to her hip is iconic. This Swiss actress and model then posed nude for Playboy, making the dreams of Bond nerds come true.

For Father’s Day, start with Dr. No and then watch the original Casino Royal, a great satire of the Bond series with Peter Sellers and Ursula.

No.6 – Mamie Van Doren
Howard Hughes discovered Mamie Von Doren when she was crowned Miss Palm Springs at 18 years old. From there she became a Hollywood bombshell and horn-dog. Linked to everyone from Johnny Carson to Steve McQueen, she claimed fidelity to each lover, saying: “I don’t wear panties anymore — this startles the Hollywood wolves so much they don’t know what to pull at, so they leave me alone.” Hmm, what?

Before Father’s Day, read her tell-all sex book Playing the Field and tell your father the crazy stories. Buy her wine, which features sexy pinups on the label, but don’t rent her movies. Yikes.

No.7 – Diana Ross
Diana Ross skyrocketed to fame in the ’60s with The Supremes and helped craft the world-famous Motown sound. It became obvious that Ross was the star of the group with her sultry singing voice and beautiful looks. Becoming equally successful as a solo act, she also crossed over into acting and received a Best Actress Oscar nod in 1972 for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Sings the Blues.

For Father’s Day, listen to The Supremes’ old hits with your father and move into her solo work like “You Are Everything” (with Marvin Gaye) and “Love Hangover.”

No.8 – Chris Evert
One of the sexiest athletes of all-time, Chris Evert owned the tennis courts in the ’70s. With her long, muscular legs and blond ponytail she became one of the United States’ most popular female athletes. They actually called her Chrissy America. She made boys excited to see the Wheaties box. After breaking off her engagement to tennis star Jimmy Connors, she dated everyone from Burt Reynolds to Geraldo Rivera and Jack Ford, son of U.S. President Gerald Ford. For Father’s Day, turn on ESPN Classic and check out some of her most famous matches.

No.9 – Stevie Nicks

Due to the sexual awakening of the late ’60s, Stevie Nicks appeared naked on her first album cover, Buckingham Nicks. While the album wasn’t a commercial success, it made her a new sex symbol. In 1974, she joined Fleetwood Mac and immediately wrote two of their most popular songs, “Rhiannon” and “Landslide.” Her hauntingly beautiful singing voice and velvet platform shoes made even macho guys like the “sissy band.” For Father’s Day put Rumours on the turntable and kick back some cold ones.

No.10 – Natalie Wood

Growing up as a child actor in such classics as Miracle on 34th Street, there’s probably not a time when your father remembers not knowing of Natalie Wood. As boys transitioned into men, she transitioned from a child star into a legit Hollywood starlet with her Oscar-nominated performance in Rebel Without a Cause. By age 25, she was a three-time Oscar nominee, making critics and perverts dream nightly of her sexy brunette, girl-next-door charm.

For a Father’s Day rental pick choose Rebel Without a Cause; the odd, but funny Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, or From Here to Eternity and walk your dad down memory lane.

Many cars have been made and many names have been given to them, but for some reason these beautiful names seem to capture the public hearts and forever remain in people minds.

No.1 – Mustang Ford

1964-Present
It have been named after the celebrated World War II fighter plane, the Mustang name has reminded thoughts of freedom and the open road for generations of drivers. Names like Boss, Cobra and Shelby have signified some even higher-performing; yet even on its own, Mustang is all that’s really mattered. The original horse car is still possibly the best, as is its name.

No.2 – Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce

1955-1966
Automakers have tried conveying senses of calm and luxury in their cars for decades, but Rolls-Royce is one of the few whose names are as legendary as their models. It’s appropriate for a car that looks like an old bank building on wheels, with approximate size to match.

No.3 – Testarossa Ferrari

1984-1996
Ferrari is always famous with its red color. However, tradition and the beauty of the language make this one of the best car names out there. It’s also no accident that the mid-engine coupe is named so similarly to the TestaRossa race cars of the late ‘50s. Its engine s 12-cylinder.

No.4 – Cobra Shelby American

1962-1967
Carroll Shelby said the Cobra name came to him in a dream; kind of ironic for a car that’s anything but peaceful. Regardless of the moment of inspiration, the application makes Cobra one of the best car names. We’re talking, of course, of the original AC-bodied Cobras. Ford has liberally used the name on various Mustangs since the ‘60s, but they’re a far cry from the curvaceous yet venomous roadsters that spelled trouble for Corvette owners of the era.

No.5 – Countach Lamborghini

1974 -1990
In a break from Lamborghini tradition of bullfighting-inspired model names. It was that very interjection at the sight of an early example that led to one of the best car names. For those unfamiliar with Italian colloquialisms, it also became one of the most mispronounced car names. Enlightenment sometimes has a trickle-down effect, and it’s been years when someone calls it a “cown-tack.”

No.6 – Viper Dodge

1992-Present
Dodge was an unlikely candidate for a serious performance car in the early ‘90s, However, along with an impressive car and a great name, Viper is worthy of its place as one of the best car names. Known as Copperhead in prototype form before adopting its production name, the reptilian references were just a nod to the look of the car’s front end. The Viper name quickly signified more though, as an untamed creature on the edge of control.

No.7 – Corvette Chevrolet

1953-Present
Some have shrugged this off as an imaginary name that just sounds cool and nothing more, but it’s a real term for a small warship. Not so far out of place, when you think about it. Harley Earl may have designed it and Zora Arkus-Duntov later refined it, but it was GM employee Myron Scott who christened the two-seat fiberglass curiosity. Over half a century later, it’s more or less impossible to think Corvette without thinking speed. That’s indeed a sign of one of the best car names.

No.8 – Veyron Bugatti

2006-Present
The Bugatti name is magical to enthusiasts, so it takes a great model name — and one breaking from the “EB” designation — to stand well with the marque. However, one of the best car names is not necessarily as far removed from the automaker as you might think. The car’s name comes from Pierre Veyron, Bugatti wheelman and winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1939.

No.9 – Carrera Porsche

1956-Present
One of the best car names has never enjoyed continual presence. Since the now-famous script appeared on the fenders of a few special Porsche 356s in 1956, the Carrera (Spanish for “race”) name has generally denoted a special, even more potent edition. Even if you didn’t know what the name meant, it simply sounded fast. Seen most recently on the over-the-top Carrera GT, it’s one of the best car names and also one of the most enduring.

No.10 – Swinger Dodge

1969-1976
Whether or not these were intentionally bought by those pursuing a less vanilla life, we can’t say, but the Swinger was one of Dodge’s best car names. Not that it was one of the division’s best cars, which explains why it’s our No. 10. Thing was, nobody at the time paid inordinate attention to the moniker given to two-door Dart models. If anything, it was the Demon that got negative attention from conservative groups.

Top Ten Appetite Suppressants
Here is a short list of ten items that you should know if you are interested in controlling your hunger.

No.1 – Almonds

Finally, almonds are another great source of healthy fats and make for a great snack between meals — provided you watch portion sizes. Note that the hunger-reducing effects of nuts tend to take about half an hour before you feel them, so eat them before you reach the point of being extremely hungry or you’ll be tempted to eat more than just the nuts.
No.2 – Salmon

Salmon works well to reduce your appetite due to the healthy fat it contains. Protein-rich foods are the most satiating nutrient upon being eaten, but fat is what has staying power to keep you feeling satisfied in the hours to come. By eating salmon, you’ll get the best of both worlds.
No.3 – Oatmeal

Starting your day off with unsweetened oatmeal is a great way to prevent hunger later on in the morning. Oatmeal contains more dietary fiber than most cereal and is very low in sugars, meaning it’s not going to leave you with a blood-sugar crash. Add some cinnamon, unsweetened applesauce or a touch of sugar-free maple syrup for added flavor.
No.4 – Wasabi

Consuming spicy foods also helps to suppress the appetite. So next time you’re having sushi or fish try adding some wasabi to it to really tame your appetite. In addition to hunger suppression, wasabi has also been known to help protect against cancer and provide anti-inflammatory effects.
No.5 – Chicken & vegetable soup

Starting your meal off with soup is another way to reduce your appetite. Hot liquids in general tend to take the edge off hunger and since there are so few calories per cup, you can eat a good volume to fill your stomach. Chicken and vegetable soup is your best bet since the small amount of protein in the chicken will curb your hunger longer, while the vegetables and fluid will instantly fill you up.
No.6 – Hoodia

Hoodia is a supplement that many people believe helps them control their hunger. Hoodia originated from Africa and was primarily used by hunters when they went out on hunting expeditions to prevent hunger pains from shortening their trip. Be aware, however, that it can take a few days to exert its affects; if you don’t feel anything at first, wait it out before making judgments.
No.7 – Water

Staying well hydrated is another very important thing you must do if you hope to prevent hunger. Not only do we often mistake hunger for thirst, but when we are dehydrated we are more apt to feel tired, causing us to attribute this fatigue for a food shortage. If you truly are tired and lacking sleep, keep in mind that your brain will release a hormone telling your body that you’re hungry when, in fact, you are not.
No.8 – Caffeine

Caffeine is a daily part of most of our lives, yet many of us don’t realize the appetite-suppressing properties that caffeine has. This stimulant is most noted for its energizing effect along with its ability to help keep you awake during that mid-morning meeting. When taken in moderate doses, however, as the central nervous system is stimulated, you’ll also tend to experience a decreased appetite.
No.9 – Flaxseeds

Flaxseeds are becoming a more popular way of getting in your essential fatty acids, but they also offer a good dose of soluble fiber to your diet. Sprinkle these little appetite suppressants into your yogurt or cottage cheese and you’ll provide your body with some slow-digesting fats to go along with the protein that’s already very satisfying.
No.10 – Apples

We have a sentence that: “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” and now apples may do more than just that. One large apple supplies approximately 5 grams of fiber, which fills the stomach up for a longer period of time. Additionally, its sugar doesn’r affect our body.

Angela Logan is the 55-year-old mother of three sons was behind on her monthly mortgage. As a substitute teacher and is studying at Bergen Community College in New Jersey to become a nurse, she creatively came up with the idea of selling apple cake to save her house. She ask her sons about her decision and they strangely supported her creative idea. She got the idea of selling the apple cake her grandmother taught her to bake when she was a child in Atlanta. This little childhood memory made it possible for her to pay off her monthly mortgage.

The Steps Angela Logan took in Saving her house

1. Set her price to be $40 per cake, her goal is to sell 100 cakes to make monthly mortgage.
2. Stood in front of class and nonprofit organization to sell her cakes.
3. Got her first 40 cake orders through friends and family.
4. News and local papers pick up on her story.
5. A Hilton Hotel Manager lets her used the hotel kitchen to bake her apple cakes.
6. Josh Kaye, founder and president of Bake Me A Wish stepped to help her too.
7. More cake orders were made, reaching to 500 and continue to grow.
8. Angela made her monthly payments on time and negotiated a new refinancing plan.
9. She vows to help others that are in similar situations.

Key Factors: Angela caught a lucky break when the local news papersdiscovered her story. The media was the main factor in getting her name out to the public; without the help of the media people would not have known about her story and give her the helping hand.
